Patna: Troubles show no signs of abating for Bihar's renowned educator, Khan Sir. While an investigation into a shooting incident has already entangled him in legal complications, the administration has now turned a critical eye toward the safety arrangements at his coaching institute. The situation has reached a point where the threat of punitive action looms over the KGS coaching center.
Deficiencies regarding fire safety standards were identified during an inspection at a Khan Global Studies (KGS) center. The Bihar Fire Services has directed the institute to rectify these shortcomings promptly. Officials have clearly stated that strict measures could be taken if the regulations are not adhered to.
Furthermore, continued non-compliance could lead to actions such as the sealing of the coaching center. This warning has heightened concerns for the institute's management.
A massive fire at a hospital in Muzaffarpur recently shook the entire state. Following this tragic incident, the administration initiated a review of safety protocols. Coaching institutes, hospitals, and other crowded buildings are now under the scrutiny of inspection agencies. Consequently, the KGS coaching center was also inspected, raising questions about certain essential safety measures.Shooting Incident Already Compounding Difficulties
The fire safety issue has surfaced at a time when Khan Sir is already making headlines due to a shooting controversy. A few days ago, an incident involving a commotion, stone-pelting, and gunfire occurred outside the center located at Musallahpur Hat in Patna. Initially, outsiders were blamed, but a subsequently surfaced video took the investigation in a new direction.
A video obtained by the police showed two guards from the coaching center brandishing weapons. Following this, both individuals were taken into custody for questioning, and their weapons were confiscated. Based on statements recorded during the investigation, the police have also included Khan Sir's name in the FIR.
While the investigation into the firing incident is underway, the administration is simultaneously scrutinizing KGS regarding fire safety compliance. On the legal front, Khan Sir is reportedly preparing to seek anticipatory bail. The coming days will determine whether this period brings relief or fresh challenges for the renowned teacher from Bihar.
