In the match played in Raipur, Team India achieved the mammoth target of 209 runs in just 92 balls. Captain Suryakumar Yadav was the hero of this victory, scoring a brilliant 82 off 37 balls. However, the foundation of this victory was laid by Ishan Kishan's explosive batting, which completely turned the match around in difficult circumstances.
Chasing the target, the Indian team had a disastrous start. Team India lost both their openers for just 6 runs. After the match, captain Suryakumar Yadav admitted this in a lighthearted manner. He said, "I was angry at him because he wasn't giving me the strike in the powerplay. But I understood the situation. I had good practice in the nets, and I was fully prepared."
