Mumbai: The fourth season of the Women's Premier League 2026 is set to kick off with a bang. The tournament's very first match will see two of the biggest stars of Indian women's cricket face off. Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Smriti Mandhana will lead their respective teams in the opening match of the Women's Premier League (WPL). The first match of WPL 2026 will be played on Friday, January 9th. This high-voltage contest will be held at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
