7 IAS and 12 IPS transferred in UP, Sulkhan Singh will be new DGP

The new government transferred 7 IAS and 12 senior IPS on Friday.

Lucknow: The senior most IPS of Uttar Pradesh, Sulkhan Singh has been appointed as the new Chief of UP Police (DGP) by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Singh would replace the Javeed Ahmed.

The new government transferred 12 senior IPS on Friday.

Singh is 1980 batch IPS officer. He was in the close contest with another IPS Rajnikant Mishra, who is currently posted in New Delhi on deputation.

The state govermnet also releases third transfer list of IAS officeres. In this list 7 IAS has been shifted.
