45-year-old contractor shot at by miscreants in Uttar Pradesh’s Basti

Basti: Three-bike borne assailants attacked a local timber contractor in Uttar Pradesh’ s Basti district on the New Year Eve.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital in a very critical condition. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Kaptainganj Police Station. 

Identity of injured
The injured contractor has been identified as Raees, 45, a resident of Khajuha police station Kaptainganj.
The doctors have referred the injured to the district hospital.

Attackers 
According to the information, the attackers have been identified as residents of Bairagal village of Duboliya police station area. 

The attack could be stemmed from a personal enmity as the attackers and injured are relatives. 

The police have started the investigation. Further details are awaited.
