Delhi Metro now allows commuters to carry 2 sealed bottles of alcohol on trains

New Delhi: Two sealed bottles of alcohol per person is permitted to be carried inside Delhi Metro, according to revised norms, officials said on Friday.

This decision came after a committee comprising officials from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and DMRC reviewed the earlier order where carrying alcohol was prohibited in the trains except on the Airport Express Line

However, drinking of alcohol inside metro premises is still strictly prohibited, they said. (with Agency inputs)
