Mumbai/ 2 August 2016. Indian television actor Angad Hasjia, who is currently seen as Chander in "Waaris", says his character in the show is "cheap and ill-mannered".

Angad remarks

Angad said, “The character of Chander that I am playing is very different from the earlier ones. Also, my mother is a regular viewer of 'Waaris'. The character I play is drastically different from how I am in real life."

“The character is negative, but he is cheap and ill-mannered too. I had to do a lot of preparations for this character. To learn the body language I had to pick up the slangs of Chander. It was difficult, but as an actor, the character helps me to show my prowess," he added.

Angad is best known for his roles in shows like "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai" and "Ram Milaayi Jodi".

Waaris background
