Lucknow: Senior advocate Ajay Mishra will be the new Advocate General (AG) of Uttar Pradesh. The UP cabinet has given its approval in a meeting which was held at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow today.

Leaving behind many contenders, the name of senior advocate Ajay Mishra was finally approved by the UP cabinet.
He has wide experience in the field of legal matters. Ajay Mishra will now represent Uttar Pradesh Government in the Supreme Court and High Court on all legal matters related with the UP Govt.
As per Dynamite News correspondent, Allahabad High Court has directed the UP government to appoint Advaocate General by 16th of May.
Ajay started his practice in 1981 at Allahabad High Court. Later he shifted to the Supreme Court in 2004.
