PFC achieves another milestone; Pays highest-ever interim dividend of Rs2033Cr to Govt

New Delhi: The Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise and leading NBFC in the country, Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) has paid Rs554Cr to Government of India as the third Interim Dividend on equity shares for the financial year 2023-24. This is in addition to Rs832Cr and Rs647Cr paid as first and second interim dividend respectively to the Government, totalling Rs2033Cr. 

Parminder Chopra, CMD PFC presented the interim dividend RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) intimation advice to RK Singh, Union Minister (Power, New & Renewable Energy) and Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Power.

Ranjan Jha, Director (Projects) and Manoj Sharma, Director (Commercial) PFC were also present on the occasion. 

The third interim dividend @30% ie Rs3 per equity share of face value Rs10 each was declared by the Board of Directors in its meeting held on March 11, 2024.

With this, PFC has so far paid interim dividends amounting to Rs3630Cr to its shareholders @110% ie Rs11 per equity share of the face value of Rs10 each for the financial year 2023-24. This is the highest ever interim dividend paid by PFC.
