New Delhi: Rajya Sabha member and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh passed away in Singapore after prolonged illness on Saturday. He was 64. He is survived by wife Pankaja and twin daughters.
Amar Singh was undergoing treatment in Singapore for kidney-related ailments over the past few months.
Earlier today this morning, he had tweeted a tribute to freedom fighter and educationist Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his death anniversary and also wished Eid Al Adha to all people and his followers through social media.
