UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand CM hold discussion to resolve asset dispute

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday morning met his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath and both discussed the vexed asset dispute between the two states.

Lucknow:  Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday morning met his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath and both discussed the vexed asset dispute between the two states.

Dhami, who is on a three-day visit to Lucknow from yesterday, met Yogi Adityanath at his residence this morning.

After formal greetings and exchange of pleasantries, both the leaders along with state officials sat on the discussion asset dispute.

Though several disputes mostly of the irrigation,agriculture , transport and tourism department are pending in the court, still some could be sorted out in this meeting, officials here hinted.

Uttarakhand was created in December, 2000 from UP but still after 21 years there is dispute between the two states over division of immovable assets.

After his meeting with UP CM, Dhami will go to the state BJP office and meet the leaders there. In the evening he will attend the function of Parvatiya Sanskritik Utsav.

Yesterday after his arrival from Uttarakhand, Dhami met UP governor Anandiben Patel at the Rajbhawan.

Uttarakhand CM will return back to Uttarakhand tomorrow morning.
