New Delhi: Google is reportedly planning to release the Pixel 10a as early as mid-February 2026, according to fresh leaks. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch, industry insiders suggest the device will arrive just weeks after the previous Pixel models, maintaining Google’s steady release pace.

The Pixel 10a is expected to come in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB and four color variants: Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender. This approach aligns with Google’s typical strategy of offering clear, limited choices rather than a wide range of variants.

Display and Camera Setup

According to recent leaks via GSMArena, the Pixel 10a will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth viewing experience.

The camera setup is tipped to include a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Google is expected to continue emphasizing software processing to enhance image quality rather than making significant hardware changes, a strategy consistent with previous Pixel models.

Performance and Battery

The device is expected to ship with 8GB of RAM, paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. A 5,100mAh battery will likely power the phone, offering slightly higher capacity than many competitors in the same segment.

There is still uncertainty about the processor, with recent leaks suggesting Google may opt for the Tensor G4 chip instead of the more powerful Tensor G5 used in the Pixel 10. Google has yet to confirm these details.

Target Audience and Price

The Pixel 10a is designed for users who want access to Google’s software features without opting for higher-priced Pixel models. The device is expected to continue the design and feature philosophy of previous A-series phones, offering core Pixel functionality at a more affordable price point.

Based on current Pixel 9a pricing, the 128GB variant of the Pixel 10a could be priced around $330, with the 256GB model potentially reaching $450 (around Rs. 39,100 in India).

With its rumored early launch, solid display, reliable cameras, and mid-range pricing, the Pixel 10a is shaping up to be a strong option for users seeking Google’s latest software features in a budget-friendly package.
