At least 12 have been killed across Bangladesh due to the cyclonic storm Fani, which is expected to stay over the country until 4 pm today.
In view of ‘Fani’ intensifying into a severe cyclonic storm on the southern and south-eastern coast of India, the Eastern Naval Command is all geared up to render necessary humanitarian assistance if the need arises.
Seventeen million people are under some risk of severe storms, including hail, strong winds and tornadoes.
