BJP Leader Aparna Yadav’s husband, Prateek Yadav trapped in fraudsters’ web

A major financial fraud case involving Prateek Yadav, younger brother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, has surfaced. Yadav has filed an FIR at Gautampalli police station against one Krishnanand Pandey, a Chinhat resident, alleging he was cheated of several crore rupees in the scam.

Lucknow: A major financial fraud case involving Prateek Yadav, younger brother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, has surfaced. Yadav has filed an FIR at Gautampalli police station against one Krishnanand Pandey, a Chinhat resident, alleging he was cheated of several crore rupees in the scam.

Prateek Yadav says that he met Krishnanand Pandey in 2011-12, and he kept giving him business proposals. Getting influenced by Krishnanand's words, Prateek Yadav thought of buying land around Shaheed Path and formed a company for this.

According to the information received by the Dynamite News correspondent, when Prateek asked to return the money he had invested, Krishnanand Pandey evaded his requests and started making excuses.

After this, the accused threatened to trap him by implicating him under serious sections like the POCSO Act. Also, the matter of making a fake audio clip viral and demanding extortion of Rs 4 crore also came to light.

Beginning of fraud

Prateek Yadav told the police that when Krishnanand Pandey met him in 2011, he gave a proposal to invest in the business of real estate in Lucknow. After working with Pandey, he invested in the company. But when he asked for his money back, Pandey started averting. Also, the accused threatened to implicate Prateek in the POCSO Act and pressured him to pay extortion.

Took advantage of family and health

Prateek Yadav said that Krishnanand Pandey also took advantage of his family's problems and health-related problems. His health deteriorated during Covid, and the demise of many close people in the family caused him severe mental trauma. Taking advantage of this time, Pandey pressured him to give money.

POCSO Act and extortion threat

Prateek Yadav said that when he asked for his money back from Krishnanand Pandey, the accused tried to threaten him. Pandey threatened to implicate him under serious sections like the POCSO Act. Apart from this, he also threatened to make a fake audio clip viral to damage the image of the family. The most shocking thing is that Pandey and his wife also demanded extortion of Rs 4 crore from Prateek through phone and email.

Introduction to Prateek Yadav's family

Prateek Yadav is the son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav's second wife, Sadhna Gupta. He lives with his wife, Aparna Yadav, who recently left the Samajwadi Party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Aparna Yadav is currently the vice-president of the Uttar Pradesh Women's Commission.
