The interviews focused on leadership abilities, temple management vision and the candidates’ understanding of religious responsibilities.

Candidates Asked About Religious Practices and Lifestyle

According to media reports, candidates were asked questions related to their faith in Lord Ram and their observance of Hindu traditions. They were reportedly asked whether they wear a ‘janeu’ (sacred thread), follow specific religious practices and whether they are vegetarian or non-vegetarian.

Questions were also raised about their drinking habits, including whether they consume liquor or are teetotallers. Candidates were also asked about their views on religious identity and whether they considered themselves strong followers of Hindu traditions.

Apart from personal practices, the interview panel also evaluated candidates on their administrative experience, leadership qualities and plans for managing the growing responsibilities of the Ram temple.

The CEO will be responsible for overseeing administrative operations, financial management, coordination and the overall functioning of the Trust’s activities.
