Greater Noida: The political atmosphere in Dadri is heating up, with swelling crowds, resounding slogans, and a growing sense that a major shift may be on the horizon in Uttar Pradesh politics.

In an exclusive interview, Muzaffarnagar MP Harendra Malik spoke candidly about the evolving political landscape, the Samajwadi Party’s (SP) rallies, and the rising popularity of Akhilesh Yadav. According to Malik, the mood among voters clearly reflects a desire for change, with people increasingly rallying behind the SP leader.

Malik noted that large crowds are turning up at SP events across the state, signalling strong public enthusiasm. “There is a clear energy among the people. It reflects a growing confidence that change is coming,” he said.

“People Are Waiting for Akhilesh Yadav”

Emphasising Akhilesh Yadav’s influence, Malik said the SP chief remains the most prominent political figure in the state at present. “Today, one name resonates across Uttar Pradesh-Akhilesh Yadav. People believe he can lead the state towards a new direction,” he asserted.

Lookalike Draws Unusual Attention at Rally

In a striking display of the SP leader’s popularity, a lookalike of Akhilesh Yadav became a crowd-puller at a recent rally. Long queues formed as people gathered just to catch a glimpse of him-an unusual yet telling moment that highlights the level of public fascination with the former chief minister.

Focus on Grassroots and Governance

Sharing insights into the party’s electoral approach, Malik said the Samajwadi Party is intensifying its grassroots outreach to connect with all sections of society. He stressed that the upcoming election will not be fought merely on promises, but on performance and public trust.

“The electorate has become more aware and discerning. People are ready to make informed choices,” Malik added.

The developments suggest a rapidly evolving political contest in Uttar Pradesh, with the coming months likely to play a crucial role in shaping the state’s electoral future.
