UP Roadways running additional buses to transport passengers home on Chhath

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation will operate additional bus trips for the convenience of passengers before Diwali. This service will continue from October 18 to 30.

Ghazipur: To ease the increased passenger pressure during Diwali and Chhath, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has decided to operate 34 additional buses from its depot. This includes one bus from Ghazipur to Delhi, 25 for Ghazipur-Lucknow-Kanpur, and eight for Ghazipur-Gorakhpur.

As the festivals approach, buses become overloaded due to many people not getting reservations or overcrowding. It is the responsibility of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation to safely transport these passengers to their destinations.

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation will operate additional bus trips for the convenience of passengers before Diwali. This service will continue from October 18th to 30th. In-charge ARM Abhishek stated that the additional buses will operate from October 10th to November 10th in view of the Diwali festival. He said that to ensure passengers do not face any inconvenience, additional buses will be operated on various routes.

Vacations Cancelled

Not all drivers and conductors will be granted leave. The ARM stated that the depot has 74 buses. 34 additional buses will operate between October 18th and 30th. These buses will run from Ghazipur to Delhi, Ghazipur-Lucknow-Kanpur, Ghazipur-Gorakhpur, and others. Currently, the highest number of buses, 13, operate between Ghazipur-Lucknow-Kanpur. Five buses were previously operating between Ghazipur-Gorakhpur.
