Children were seen dancing in the rain, while farmers set out towards their fields with smiles on their faces.

Local resident Dilip Kumar said the situation was miserable due to heat and humidity for several days. But this rain has given relief. It is expected that the weather will remain like this for a few days. He said that due to the rain, waterlogging was definitely created in some areas, but this did not reduce the enthusiasm of the people.
The Meteorological Department has also confirmed that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain intermittently for the next two days. According to the department, this rain will prove beneficial for Kharif crops. Especially for those farmers who had already sown crops like paddy, moong, and urad.
