The DN exclusive report reveals Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand breaking silence on an alleged attack on his camp, questioning the use of faith in politics, targeting CM Yogi and PM Modi, and hinting at a bigger political shift ahead.

Prayagraj: In a special interview broadcast live from Prayagraj on Dynamite News, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand spoke openly about the alleged attack on his camp, the future strategy of his movement, and contemporary politics.
Swami Avimukteshwaranand said the alleged attack on his camp in Prayagraj was not just a security lapse but an attempt to suppress the movement. He claimed that the camp was deliberately targeted to send a message, but he is not afraid of such threats. “Such attempts have always been made to stop those who walk on the path of truth,” he said.
Questioning the Prime Minister’s famous slogan, the Shankaracharya said that linking the name of Ganga Maa with politics is inappropriate. He emphasized that faith should not be used for political gains and that Ganga belongs to everyone, not to any particular ideology.
During the interview, he strongly criticized Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He alleged that there is a huge gap between claims of cow protection and the ground reality. He also said that the government lacks sensitivity and compassion in its governance.
Talking about the movement’s future, he said it would intensify after the eighth day. He clarified that the struggle is not limited to a single issue but is related to broader concerns of religion, society, and justice. He also urged supporters to maintain discipline and restraint.
Commenting on the political scenario, the Shankaracharya predicted a change in power first in Uttar Pradesh and then in the country. He said this would be the result of growing public awareness and dissatisfaction.
