New Delhi: New Delhi witnessed a moment for the Congress as thousands of party workers gathered at Ramleela Maidan for the ‘Vote Thieves, Resign’ mega-rally. Supporters traveled from all over India by train and bus, waving Congress flags and holding images of Rahul Gandhi. The atmosphere, both inside and outside the venue, was electric as attendees eagerly anticipated a glimpse of the party leaders. From early morning, workers crowded the venue, some standing and others seated, all eyes on the stage. He questioned the impartiality of the Election Commission, alleging that the ruling BJP exploits its power to influence elections and distribute cash incentives to voters. Gandhi specifically named the current Election Commissioners, claiming that Dhanesh Kumar, Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, and Dr. Vivek Joshi work in coordination with the BJP. He also criticized Home Minister Amit Shah, stating that Shah appeared nervous in Parliament when questioned about vote theft, accusing the government of avoiding accountability and fearing the truth.
