New Delhi: A unique social media stunt in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior grabbed massive attention after a man covered his car with thousands of lipstick kiss marks to create a viral reel. However, the unusual makeover soon attracted traffic police action, ending with a fine and a cleanup order.
The car owner, identified as Aditya Sikarwar, transformed his Swift by getting around 3,400 lipstick kiss marks painted across its exterior. The idea was reportedly inspired by a trending social media challenge aimed at gaining online popularity.

According to reports, the makeover took nearly three-and-a-half hours and used lipstick worth around ₹800-900. The video showing the unusual car design was uploaded on Instagram, where it quickly gained thousands of views.
The viral clip soon came under the radar of Gwalior traffic police. Officials said the vehicle was spotted in a video allegedly showing it being driven in a manner that violated traffic rules.
Police used details visible in the viral footage to track down the car. The vehicle was eventually located in the Thatipur area and brought to the traffic police station for verification.
During questioning, Sikarwar reportedly told police that the idea came from a female friend and was only intended to make the reel popular. After the action, he accepted the mistake, removed the lipstick marks and cleaned the vehicle.
Traffic police issued a challan of ₹5,500 and advised him to avoid such activities on public roads in the future.
The incident sparked mixed reactions online. While some users questioned the need for police action over a creative stunt, others supported authorities, saying viral content should not encourage unsafe driving behaviour.
The unusual combination of social media trends, car modification and police action has made the Gwalior incident a talking point online.
