New Delhi: A brief traffic jam has triggered a major discussion online after a man was filmed opening his laptop and working while seated on the back of a motorcycle.

The short video, widely shared on social media, shows the motorcycle moving slowly through traffic. After a few moments, the pillion rider opens his backpack, takes out a laptop and begins working while waiting for vehicles to move.

It remains unclear what task he was completing. Social media users speculated that he could have been responding to emails, finishing a presentation or dealing with urgent office work during his journey home.

Any work-life balance left?

The person who shared the clip suggested that the man may have already completed a full working day but was still unable to disconnect from his job. The post described the scene as an example of how people were gradually being treated like machines.

The video quickly attracted reactions from working professionals, many of whom said it reflected the growing pressure to remain available beyond regular office hours. Several users noted that smartphones and laptops had blurred the boundary between professional and personal life.

Others offered a different perspective, suggesting that the man may have been trying to complete an urgent assignment during his commute so that he could spend more time with his family after reaching home.

The discussion eventually moved beyond the individual seen in the video. Many users said long commutes, tight deadlines and demanding workplace expectations had left employees with little time to rest.

For viewers, the viral clip became a striking symbol of a work culture in which even a five-minute pause in traffic may no longer feel like a break.
