CM Yogi Adityanath launches Clean and Healthy UP campaign

Gorakhpur: UP CM Yogi Adityanath  launched 'Swachh Uttar Pradesh, Swasth Uttar Pradesh' campaign in Gorakhpur.

After launching 'Swachh Uttar Pradesh, Swasth Uttar Pradesh' campaign & he broomed a street in Gorakhpur's Andhiyari Bagh locality.

During his speech, CM Yogi Adityanath said, " I started movement against Encephalitis; when it comes to it, prevention is better than cure and it starts with sanitation."

He futher said,"Encephalitis breeds in filth. The previous regime is responsible for the deaths due to encephalitis."

Highlights of his Speech:

1. Government in last 12-15 yrs ruined institutions in UP for selfish motives by institutionalizing corruption, kept people deprived of facilities.
2. Families in rural areas wil be granted Rs 12,000 to construct toilets.
3. People need to connect with government schemes. 'Swachh-sunder UP abhiyan' will begin from Gorakhpur.
4. Common man needs to take the initiative in this sanitation drive. People need to be aware about how to maintain and promote hygiene.
5. The people of Gorakhpur and eastern UP will fight against such diseases through awareness.
6.  If we can do this, eastern UP will be free from malaises like dengue, encephalitis, kala azar, swine flu.
