New Delhi: Honda is preparing to launch a new facelift of its popular sedan, the Honda City, in 2026. This will be the second major update for the fifth generation, which was first launched in 2020.

With the new update, the car's design will become even more stylish. According to reports, its look will be inspired by the Honda Civic. The front will feature a new chrome grille, sharp LED headlamps, and daytime running lights.

The bumper will be made sportier, while the side profile will feature new 16-inch alloy wheels and clean lines, giving it a premium look.

The new Honda City is expected to come with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Other features will include a digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, push-button start, a sunroof, and rear AC vents. This car will also be technologically advanced.

Safety and Honda Sensing

The Honda City has always been reliable in terms of safety. The 2026 model will feature Honda Sensing technology, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane assist, automatic braking system, and other road safety features. In addition, it will come with 6 airbags, ABS, stability control, and hill start assist.

Petrol and Hybrid Variants

The 2026 Honda City will be available in both petrol and hybrid options. The hybrid variant is expected to deliver a mileage of approximately 27 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient cars in its segment.
