Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle within the police department, transferring 15 senior IPS officers.
This reshuffle includes the replacement of the Police Commissioners of Lucknow and Prayagraj, as well as the ADG of the Gorakhpur Zone. These transfers are viewed as a significant step towards strengthening law and order and the administrative setup. Changes in the policing systems of several districts are expected as the new officers assume charge.
