New Delhi: IAS Surendra Singh, who served three years on deputation at the Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat in Delhi, has now returned to Lucknow.

According to a Dynamite News correspondent, Surendra Singh, a 2005-batch UP cadre IAS officer, is known for being honest and hardworking.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as the Chief Minister's Special Secretary in the Chief Minister's Secretariat.

He has also served as the Divisional Commissioner of Meerut Division and the CEO of Greater Noida. Previously, he has also served as the District Magistrate of Kanpur Nagar, Bareilly, and Varanasi.

He is originally from Mathura district.
