Tadasha Mishra's Appointment Order

The Home Department issued a formal order transferring Tadasha Mishra from the post of Special Secretary in the Home Department and appointing her as the acting DGP of Jharkhand. The order also states that she will continue to work in the DGP position in the same pay scale until further orders.

Her appointment was already being discussed in departmental circles, as she is one of the senior-most police officers in the state and has been playing a crucial role in administrative work and security management for a long time.

Anurag Gupta's Tenure and VRS

Former DGP Anurag Gupta recently met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and expressed his desire for voluntary retirement. Although this was not officially confirmed at the time, the Home Department has now accepted his VRS.

The government has stated in the order that Anurag Gupta will be provided with all the benefits due to him after retirement. With Gupta's resignation, the possibility of a change in the Jharkhand police leadership became clear, and now Tadasha Mishra's appointment has confirmed it.

Who is IPS Tadasha Mishra?

Tadasha Mishra is a senior IPS officer of the 1994 batch of the Jharkhand cadre. She has served in several important positions during her career.
