At the same time, new and serious information has come to light from the police investigation about the attacker, Rajesh Bhai Khimji Bhai Sakaria. It has been revealed that he is a 'habitual offender' and already has five cases registered against him.
After registering a case of slapping only, now the police have added more serious charges against him. Section 109 (1), i.e., attempt to murder, along with section 132 (assault on public servant) and section 221 (obstruction of duty of public servant) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS), have also been included in the new FIR.
According to the police, the attacker did not have any genuine complaint but only had a slip for a public hearing. Whatever reason he is giving behind the attack, the police are suspicious of him and are investigating it from every angle. This whole matter has raised serious questions on the security system and increasing violence in public life.
