New Delhi: The Delhi Crime Branch has busted a major international arms smuggling racket and arrested four accused. The arrested accused have been identified as Ajay, Mandeep, Dalwinder, and Rohan.
According to sources, the gang was supplying high-tech Turkish and Chinese-made pistols from Pakistan to India. This case poses a serious challenge to law and order in the National Capital Region.

According to the police, the gang was using a well-planned network to smuggle weapons.
Weapons were dropped from Pakistan into Punjab via drones.
They were then stored at various locations.
They were then supplied to gangsters in Delhi and surrounding states.
The gang's primary objective in this smuggling operation was to supply weapons to notorious gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Bambiha, Gogi, and Himanshu Bhau.
During this operation, police recovered 10 expensive foreign pistols and 92 live cartridges from the accused. These weapons are high-tech weapons manufactured in Turkey and China.
According to officials, the smuggling of this type of weapons demonstrates the gang's sophisticated and well-planned strategy.
The Crime Branch stated that this entire network operated at the behest of individuals associated with Pakistan's ISI. The weapons were brought from Pakistan to India and delivered to various gangsters.
Police are now investigating how many weapons the accused have sold in India so far and to which criminals they were supplied.

Two of the four arrested accused are residents of Punjab, indicating the gang's regional reach and operational capabilities. This shows that the network of arms smuggling was not limited to Delhi only but was spread across the entire NCR and neighbouring states.
