Jaunpur: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy on Monday in Brahmadeva village, located under the jurisdiction of Madiyahun police station in Jaunpur district. The incident sparked intense outrage as the boy’s grieving family and villagers staged a protest outside the police station, creating a tense situation in the area.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accident occurred when a tractor fatally struck the boy. Following the incident, the driver abandoned the tractor and fled the scene. Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot, took possession of the body, and brought it to the station.

However, as the police attempted to take the body inside, family members and villagers, already present at the station, intervened emotionally. In a heart-wrenching scene, women from the family forcibly took the body back, sat with it outside the police station, and began mourning, leading to chaos and emotional scenes.

A large crowd from the village had gathered, and the atmosphere remained tense for hours. Authorities are investigating the incident, and efforts are underway to locate the absconding tractor driver.
