The Income Tax Department's raid on approximately 36 locations, including Tanmay Modi's Shubham Hero Agency in Maharajganj, lasted for almost three days. After more than 65 hours of continuous operation, the Income Tax team departed on Friday morning with all the necessary documents. Dynamite News provided continuous updates on this raid.
According to sources, the Income Tax team took with them computer hard drives, transaction-related documents, bills, vouchers, and accounting records. However, the department has not officially disclosed what was recovered during the raid or what kind of irregularities were being investigated.
After the raid ended, complete silence prevails at the Shubham Hero Agency. The shutters are down, and the gate is locked. Only a private security guard is present at the site, who refused to provide any information. Nearby shopkeepers say that their businesses were also affected due to the three-day operation.
