New Delhi: Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and the main accused in the murder of Baba Siddiqui, has arrived in India from the US.
Earlier, the US Department of Homeland Security confirmed this by sending an email to Baba Siddiqui's family. The email clearly states, "Anmol Bishnoi has been deported from the US on November 18, 2025."
Former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Bandra, Mumbai, on October 12, 2024. Anmol Bishnoi is the main accused in this murder case.
Who is Anmol Bishnoi?
Anmol Bishnoi is the foreign handler of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He is the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Despite his brother's imprisonment, Anmol and Goldy Brar run all the gang's activities. Lawrence is currently lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat, but his gang remains active worldwide.
Anmol has at least 18 criminal cases registered against him in India. He also claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan's house in April 2024. Following this, the Mumbai Police issued a lookout circular against him.
Anmol's Role in the Baba Siddiqui Murder
Investigations have revealed that Anmol Bishnoi maintained constant contact with Baba Siddiqui's shooters through Snapchat. He used the Snapchat account name "Bhanu." This same Anmol was also involved in planning the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022.
Anmol was Lawrence's right-hand man while living abroad. He ordered extortion, threats, and hit jobs. He controlled the gang worldwide through encrypted apps. He also established new criminal networks in West Asia, East Africa, and North America.
Why was he deported from the US?
Anmol, a resident of Fazilka district in Punjab, is one of India's most wanted criminals. The NIA has placed a bounty of Rs 10 lakh on his head. Investigations revealed that he first fled to Nepal using a fake passport and then reached the US via Dubai and Kenya.
He was detained in the US last November. Subsequently, the deportation process began, which has now been completed. Upon his return to India, he will be taken into police and NIA custody and sent to jail after interrogation.
Baba Siddiqui's family has also released a copy of the email received from the US. The family says that a major battle for justice has now been won. Many important secrets are expected to be revealed by Anmol in the coming days.
