Seema Haider names newborn son ‘Bharat’
Noida: Seema Haider, who moved to India in 2023, has named her newborn son “Bharat” during a ceremony held at her residence in Rabupura, Greater Noida. The child, born in February, is her sixth.
Seema lives with her husband Sachin Meena, with whom she shares two children. She also has four children from a previous marriage.

Speaking during the ceremony, Seema said the name was chosen following a suggestion by a priest, who advised selecting a name starting with the letter “Bh”. The couple decided on “Bharat”, describing it as meaningful and appropriate.
She noted that the ceremony was conducted in line with Hindu traditions, which she said she has come to appreciate.
Seema expressed admiration for Hindu customs, describing them as “beautiful” and saying that such rituals help bring families together. She added that she takes part in festivals and small celebrations at home, which she believes strengthen family bonds.
She also spoke about her growing attachment to India, saying she actively follows national events and enjoys celebrating occasions such as cricket victories with her family.
Seema entered India via Nepal in 2023 along with her children. Her story gained widespread attention after it emerged that she met Sachin through the online game PUBG. The two later got married at a temple in Kathmandu.

Since then, she has been living in Greater Noida and has repeatedly stated that she considers India her home.
During her remarks, Seema said she feels accepted in her current community and has no intention of returning to Pakistan. She emphasised that she wishes to continue building her life in India with her family.
Her case has remained in public focus due to legal and social discussions surrounding her entry into the country and subsequent stay.
