Campaigning Ends for Second and Final Phase of Bihar Assembly Polls
Patna: Campaigning for the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections ended at 5 pm today. Voting will take place on 11 November for 122 assembly seats across 20 districts in the second phase.
According to the State Election Office, 45,399 polling stations have been set up to facilitate voters. In the second phase, voting will continue until 4 pm in the Katoria, Belhar, Chainpur, Chenari, Goh, Navinagar, Kutumba, Aurangabad, Rafiganj, Gurua, Sherghati, Imamganj, Barachatti (36 booths), Bodhgaya (200 booths), Rajauli, Govindpur, Sikandra, Jamui, Jhajha, and Chakai assembly constituencies.

Voting has been scheduled until 5 pm at 106 booths in Bodhgaya. Adequate security forces have been deployed at all polling stations to ensure peaceful and fair voting.
A total of 1,302 candidates are contesting in the second phase of elections. These include 1,165 men, 136 women, and one third-gender candidate.

The Election Commission has made extensive security arrangements to ensure a peaceful voting process. Additional police and paramilitary forces have been deployed at sensitive polling stations. CCTV cameras and webcasting have also been installed at polling stations.
