Mumbai: It doesn't get more grandiose and epic than this! Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayan is turning out to be one of the most anticipated films in Indian film history, reports Dynamite NEws correspondent.
The excitement around this mega project is only growing, especially since actor and producer Yash has started shooting for it. The grand project is being helmed by noted producer Namit Malhotra.
Famously known as the 'Rocking Star,' Yash will be playing the role of Raavan in the film. His character will be full of action, which will be choreographed by renowned Hollywood stunt director Guy Norris. Norris is known for his stellar work in films like Mad Max: Fury Road and The Suicide Squad.
The film features state-of-the-art VFX, huge sets, and a stellar ensemble cast. Ramayan aims to bring Indian mythology to the big screen in a new way. Currently, Guy Norris is in India and is preparing for the large-scale action sequences for the film, which will have Yash's character at the center.

Yash is very involved in his projects, and in Ramayan too, he is working with the entire team to make it a visual masterpiece. He will be shooting for around 60–70 days for the first part of the film.
In the recent pictures from the sets, Yash looks dashing, strong, and battle-ready. His physical transformation indicates that this new avatar of Raavan will be extremely aggressive and powerful, which can change the definition of Indian action heroes.
Aiming to take the art of Indian storytelling to new heights on a global level, the film brings together a great vision, a great cast, and international talent. Yash is not only in the lead role along with Ranbir Kapoor but is also deeply involved in the project as a co-producer. He has creatively contributed to every aspect of the film right from the beginning.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, the first part of Ramayana will be released on Diwali 2026 and the second part on Diwali 2027.
