Maharashtra: Aanand L Rai’s much-anticipated romantic drama, Tere Ishq Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has achieved a major box office milestone. The film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide in less than a week, solidifying its status as one of the fastest-performing love stories of 2025.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Tere Ishq Mein has collected ₹77.85 crore net and ₹92.65 crore gross in India since its release last Friday. The overseas collection stands at ₹8.50 crore, taking the worldwide total to ₹101.15 crore in just six days.
The film had amassed ₹92.50 crore worldwide in its first five days. While a 33% dip was recorded in India on Wednesday, it did not prevent the film from breaching the ₹100 crore milestone. Opening day figures showed ₹16 crore net domestically and ₹22 crore worldwide, indicating a strong start. Interestingly, the film has been performing better in Hindi markets than in Tamil, showing its pan-India appeal.
With its current total, Tere Ishq Mein still has some ground to cover to surpass Dhanush’s previous hits. It needs ₹138.1 crore to overtake Kuberan, ₹109.50 crore to beat De De Pyaar De 2, and ₹110.27 crore to surpass Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. For perspective, the highest-grossing romantic drama, Saiyaara, stands at a staggering ₹569.75 crore.
Tere Ishq Mein is the third collaboration between director Aanand L Rai and Dhanush, following Raanjhanaa (2013) and Atrangi Re (2021). The film explores the tumultuous love story of Shankar (Dhanush) and Mukti (Kriti Sanon), blending emotional intensity with romantic drama.
