New Delhi: In the context of Operation Sindoor and India's continued fight against cross-border terrorism, seven all-party delegations are set to visit key partner countries, including members of the UN Security Council, later this month.

The all-party delegations will project India's national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations.

They would carry to the world the country's strong message of zero-tolerance against terrorism, an official statement said.

Members of Parliament from different parties, prominent political personalities, and distinguished diplomats will be part of each delegation.

The MPs who will lead the seven delegations are Shashi Tharoor of the Congress, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda of the BJP, Sanjay Kumar Jha of JD(U), Kanimozhi Karunanidhi from DMK, Supriya Sule from NCP and Shrikant Eknath Shinde of the Shiv Sena.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on X said, "In moments that matter most, Bharat stands united".

"Seven all-party delegations will soon visit key partner nations, carrying our shared message of zero-tolerance to terrorism -- a powerful reflection of national unity above politics, beyond differences," he added.

Earlier Incident

The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir Police is conducting raids at multiple locations in ongoing crackdown on suspected terror related activities, officials said.

SIA Statement

"The raids that are underway in central and north Kashmir districts is part of an ongoing crackdown on suspected terror-related activities in the region, they said.

This development follows the recent documented raids carried out by the SIA on May 11 targeting approximately 20 locations in South Kashmir, specifically in the districts of Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, and Anantnag.

Earlier Raids

Those earlier raids were part of a high-stakes investigation into a terror conspiracy case, where alleged sleeper cells were found to be in contact with handlers in Pakistan.

The accused individuals were reportedly involved in sharing sensitive information about security forces and critical infrastructure using encrypted messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal.

"Today's raids in Central and North Kashmir are likely a continuation or expansion of that broader investigation. More details are expected to emerge as the operation progresses," officials added.
