Cambodia wants immediate ceasefire with Thailand; India issued advisory

Cambodia: Countries around the world including Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Iran are burning in the fire of war these days.

Meanwhile, tension has also arisen between Thailand and Cambodia. Both countries have been continuously attacking each other for the last two days.

Cambodia has appealed to Thailand for a ceasefire. It is being told that Cambodia's ambassador to the United Nations said on Friday that he wants an immediate ceasefire with Thailand.

Let us tell you that deadly attacks took place between the two neighboring countries on Friday as well. Bangkok has also given open indications on this ceasefire appeal. However, Thailand has denied mediation by America or China.

In fact, the long-running border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia turned into a war on Thursday. After that a fierce fight broke out between the two countries. After this, the United Nations Security Council called an emergency meeting on Friday. Representatives of both Cambodia and Thailand attended this meeting. After this meeting, UN Ambassador Chia Keo said that Cambodia has demanded an immediate ceasefire without any conditions. He said that we also call for a peaceful solution to this dispute.

Let us tell you that on Friday, continuous sounds of artillery attacks were heard in the border areas of Cambodia. According to Thailand's Health Ministry, more than 1 lakh 38 thousand people have been evacuated from its border areas. So far 15 people have died, including 14 civilians and a soldier. While 46 others including 15 soldiers have been injured.

India issued advisory

Meanwhile, India has issued an advisory for its citizens. The Indian Embassy in Thailand issued an advisory for its citizens on Friday (July 25) saying that due to the ongoing unrest on the Thailand-Cambodia border, Indian citizens should avoid traveling to seven provinces.
