Jailed former Pakistan PM Imran Khan was reportedly offered deals by the Shehbaz Sharif government twice but he rejected, said a close aide of Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif.

Imran Khan rejects two “serious” jail release offers
Islamabad: The Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif close aide and political advisor Rana Sanaullah has said that the jailed former Prime Minister and cricket captain, Imran Khan, was twice offered a compromise, but he refused to accept it.
The cricketer-turned-politician has been in jail since August 2023.
Rana Sanaullah said, "We want a political solution to this problem, but Khan is not willing to find a way out." He revealed on a talk show, "Two serious attempts were made in the past to reach a compromise with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, but they failed."
Sanaullah said, "The first attempt was made in November 2024, under the leadership of Federal Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi and then-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and the second attempt was made recently by some foreign figures. Imran Khan initially agreed but later backed out of the agreement." He added, "We want a political solution to this problem, but Khan is not willing to find a way."
Claims of Attempt to Come to Power
Sanaullah, a close aide of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) chief Nawaz Sharif, further stated that Khan wants to oust the current government and come to power himself.
Defending the agreement reached by three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with the military establishment, Sanaullah said, "Nawaz Sharif is an experienced politician. He has found a way forward for himself and his party."
