Following the escalation of tensions between Iran and Israel, this marks the second instance of Modi speaking with the UAE president. Additionally, he has reached out to the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Israel, and Iran.
The situation has, in fact, worsened following attacks on Iran attributed to the United States and Israel. In retaliation, Iran has targeted several Gulf nations, thereby heightening tensions across the entire region.
