New Delhi: India beat Pakistan by 6 wickets in the Asia Cup Super Four clash at Dubai International Stadium yesterday

Following this impressive victory, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav made a significant statement.
He said that matches between the two countries should no longer be called "rivalry." He justified his statement by explaining the difference between wins and losses in matches between the two teams.

Suryakumar said no competition

Surya made this statement when a senior Pakistani journalist asked him if the difference in standards between the two teams had become too great.

Suryakumar responded directly, "Sir, my request is that we should stop calling India vs Pakistan matches rivalry." When the journalist interrupted him and pointed out that he was referring to "standard" rather than "rivalry," the Indian captain said, "Sir, rivalry and standard are the same thing. What is rivalry?" "If two teams have played 15 games and the score is 8-7, that's a rivalry. Here it's 12-3. There's no competition."
