How to identify fake sweets?

Pay attention to color and shine- If the color of the sweet looks very bright or unnatural, then understand that chemical color may be mixed in it. The color of real sweets is light and natural.

Dissolve the sweet in water and see- Some sweets like khoya and mawa contain detergent. If you dissolve a piece of sweet in hot water and foam starts forming, then it is a sign of adulteration of detergent.

Checking the purity of ghee- If vegetable oil is mixed in sweets instead of ghee, then its smell and taste will be different. Sweets made from pure ghee have the fragrance of ghee and sugar and do not taste very smooth.
