The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts cloudy conditions for Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and other northern states on 9 August and 16-17 August respectively. On Raksha Bandhan day, Delhi and surrounding areas may experience light to moderate rain and thunderstorms, with a minimum temperature dropping by 4 degrees Celsius. On Janmashtami, Delhi and other North Indian locations could experience heavy rain, with Delhi, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh under a cloud cover and rain alert from 10 to 13.
