These chutneys will not only enhance the flavor of your daily meals but are also very beneficial for your health. Let's take note of their easy recipes.

Coriander-Mint Chutney

This chutney wins hearts with its green color and fresh aroma. It's not only perfect with samosas and pakoras, but also tastes delicious with parathas, dal-rice, or sandwiches. It's incredibly easy to make and takes very little time.

Ingredients:

  • Coriander leaves - about 1 cup
  • Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chilies - 2-3 (to taste)
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water - a little (for grinding)

Method:

  • First, wash the coriander and mint leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt or grime.
  • Now, put the coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, salt, and black salt in a mixer jar.
  • Add lemon juice and a little water (about 1-2 tablespoons) and turn the mixer on.
  • Blend until it becomes a smooth paste. Be careful not to add too much water, or the chutney will become thin.
  • Transfer the prepared chutney into a bowl. If you like, you can add a tablespoon of cooled oil from the frying to the mixture, which will keep the color green for a long time.
  • This fresh and delicious coriander-mint chutney is ready.

Garlic Chutney

If you like spicy and tangy flavors, this garlic chutney will touch your heart. This chutney is known for its strong aroma and flavor. It not only enhances the flavor of raita or dal, but also makes a great accompaniment to naan, rumali roti, or tandoori chicken.

Ingredients:

  • Garlic - 8-10 cloves (peeled)
  • White sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
  • Peanuts - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried red chilies - 2-3 (to taste)
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon

Method:

  • First, heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and dried red chilies and fry.
  • Add peanuts and white sesame seeds and fry until lightly golden.
  • Then add peeled garlic cloves and fry for 2-3 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  • Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool.
  • After cooling, pour the mixture into a mixer jar, add salt and lemon juice.
  • Blend it. If desired, you can make a thick paste by adding a little water, or you can blend it without water.
