The minister handed over Ayushman Bharat health cards to eligible beneficiaries and provided seed kits and ecological agricultural tools, including sprayer machines, to farmers under the Chief Minister’s State Horticulture Development Mission. Police personnel who had performed commendably in their duties were also honoured with appreciation certificates during the event.

Welfare Distribution and Public Outreach
During the programme, Singh emphasised the government’s focus on delivering welfare benefits directly to citizens. He encouraged beneficiaries to make full use of the schemes designed to improve healthcare access and agricultural productivity.

Several public representatives and senior officials attended the event, including local legislators, district officials and administrative officers.
Review of Development Works and Law & Order
Following the distribution ceremony, the minister chaired a review meeting to assess development projects and the law-and-order situation in the district. He instructed officials to explore the development of an industrial zone focused on food processing units, which could generate employment opportunities for local residents.
He directed the administration to hold meetings with progressive farmers, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), traders and other stakeholders to inform them about government support for establishing food processing units.
Focus on Roads, Safety and Infrastructure
Singh also asked officials to identify accident-prone locations in the district and take necessary preventive measures to reduce road accidents. He stressed that illegal road cuts must be stopped immediately.

Reviewing road infrastructure, he instructed the Public Works Department to prioritise the construction, widening and strengthening of roads while also considering proposals submitted by public representatives.
Water Supply and Agriculture Schemes
During the review of Jal Jeevan Mission, the minister directed officials to complete projects that were nearing completion on priority. He also ordered that roads damaged during pipeline installation be repaired according to standards.
He further reviewed schemes related to irrigation, groundwater recharge, cattle welfare and agricultural subsidies, urging officials to ensure timely implementation and greater awareness among beneficiaries.
Monitoring Education and Welfare Programmes
The minister also reviewed the PM Kusum Scheme, mid-day meal programme and fertiliser supply. He instructed departments to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive support without delays.
Singh reiterated that coordinated efforts among departments are essential to ensure effective governance and better service delivery for residents of Kaushambi.
