AIMIM has registered a victory in Ward 134, Mankhurd Mandala village. Party candidate Mahjabeen Atiq Ahmed has won the seat, marking the third win for Owaisi’s party so far.
Another candidate of Asaduddin Owaisi has won in the BMC polls. Khairunnisa Hussain secured victory from Ward 145. With this win, Owaisi’s party has now won two seats so far.
AIMIM has registered its first victory in the BMC, with party candidate Irshad Khan winning from Ward 135.
After his victory, Milind Vaidy said, “I am happy today. I am a disciple of Balasaheb Thackeray and have followed his words. He had said that after him, we must take care of his son and grandson, and we are fulfilling that promise. The rest are traitors who left. I have served as mayor before and am a staunch supporter of the Thackerays, so I will continue to work.”
Yogita Gawli, daughter of Arun Gawli, contesting from Byculla 207, has faced defeat. BJP’s candidate Rohida Lokhande has emerged victorious.
BJP’s candidate Navnath Ban has emerged victorious in the Muslim-majority Mankhurd ward.
BJP has secured a victory in South Mumbai. The party won in Wards 214 and 215, with Ajay Patil and Santosh Dhale emerging victorious.

Around 1,700 candidates contested across Mumbai’s 227 wards. So far, Mahayuti leads with 68 seats, the Shiv Sena (UBT)–MNS alliance trails at 51 seats, and Congress holds 11 seats.
