Just a few days ago, the central government secured an office for the 8th Pay Commission in Delhi to expedite the Commission's work. Now, with the website going live, the Commission has formally initiated the consultation process. This indicates that the pay revision process is progressing slowly and employees' expectations have also risen.

The Commission has clarified that it does not want to limit itself to ministries, departments, or employee organizations, but wants to seek direct feedback from those directly affected by the Pay Commission's decisions. For this purpose, a partnership has been established with the MyGov portal, enabling employees, pensioners, and stakeholders to easily submit their suggestions.
The 8th Pay Commission has stated that the entire process for submitting suggestions will be online. The Commission will not consider suggestions submitted via physical documents, letters, or emails.
