Akhilesh explained that he himself campaigned in Bihar and did not sense any possibility of defeat during the election campaign. He was fully confident that Tejashwi Yadav would become the Chief Minister. He said that both the public and the atmosphere seemed to be in favor of the Grand Alliance, which is why the results were surprising.

Questions Raised Again on EVMs

Akhilesh Yadav also questioned the reliability of EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines). He claimed that malfunctions were observed in EVMs at several places, and this issue is becoming increasingly serious.

Akhilesh clearly stated that "EVMs will have to be removed one day," meaning that elections will need to be conducted using ballot papers in the future.

Referring to election strategist Prashant Kishor, Akhilesh said that his party's defeat showed the ground reality. He said that the BJP is adept at creating narratives—whether through songs, AI-generated videos, or any other propaganda material.
