Setback for Hindu parties
Luckmow: The hearing in the Mathura-based Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah case was held in the Allahabad High Court on Friday.
After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the High Court refused to declare the property related to Krishna Janmabhoomi Shahi Idgah as disputed. This decision of the court has come as a shock to the Hindu parties. The court of Justice Ram Manohar Narayan Mishra rejected the petition filed by plaintiff Mahendra Pratap Singh
The hearing in the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah case was held in the Allahabad High Court on Friday on the petition to declare Shahi Idgah as a disputed structure. Earlier, the court had reserved the decision in the case on the petition of the Hindu party.
Also, the date of July 4 was fixed for the decision. Mahendra Pratap Singh, President of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nyas, has demanded in the Allahabad High Court that Shahi Idgah be declared a disputed structure, as was done in the Babri Masjid case.
It was also claimed that the Shahi Masjid of Mathura was also built by demolishing the original sanctum sanctorum of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi. However, the Muslim side had opposed this demand of the Hindu side. Along with this, a written objection was also filed in the court.
After hearing both the sides, the court of Justice Ram Manohar Narayan Mishra had reserved the decision on the petition to declare Shahi Idgah as a disputed structure.
