Kolkata: In a historic turn of events, the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections have set the stage for a high-stakes battle that could mark a monumental shift in the state's political landscape. For the first time since India's independence, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to challenge the dominance of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and form a government in West Bengal.
